Digital Planner Stickers

Simply Plants
Digital Sticker

I learned how to create digital stickers for my Digital Journal. This class was given by Kara Benz on Teachable and you can find it Here. this was such a fun course to do.

I am constantly creating stickers that I will never use, just because they are fun to make. the plants stickers above were inspired by some of the plants around my house, with the exception of Mr. Cactus.

I usually start my sketches in the morning with my coffee after my morning brain wake up games. The hardest thing about doing these is, not wanting to stop once you get started and the idea sketching starts to flow! I am not an artist, but with the stickers, you really do not need to be. These are more on the lines of Doodle Stickers.

If you want something to do on a rainy afternoon instead of just curling up on the couch, I really recommend giving these a whirl.

To Plan or Not to Plan?

I have been struggling the last 2 years with trying to find a way to use a planner. I really like the BuJo Style planners and the creativity that comes with them. I have recently been trying the paper method… because I like paper and pens and pencils and drawing. I also like the digital version of planners with the creativity that they have. I have too many of them going at the same time and really not liking any of them. Well, that is not entirely true. I don’t have much of a life that really requires a planner. I use one note for work, just because it is actually right there on my desktop. I mainly use it for things that are not in my normal schedule that I need to remember to fit in somewhere when I have the time. In my Non-working life, I eat, sleep, go out once a week, craft on the weekends when I don’t have to work. So… what do I have that needs a planner for. Right now, in the paper planner, I am working on different things that will keep me going to it daily. Mostly it is just jotting down a few things that happened during the day… and believe me… sometimes it is a stretch of the imagination to be able to write down one sentence!

I have decided that I will dedicate a digital Journal to all of the Audio Books I am and plan on listening to. I may be re-vamping that to include a “My Thoughts On It’ area to write up my own personal review and what I got out of it.

I think that starting in January, I am going to do a ‘Fantasy Life’ Planner. Basically it would be a planner based on what I would like my life to look like. Why not? Maybe by doing that, I may actually start moving in that direction. I won’t call it a “Manifesting Journal”. I just think it would be kind of fun to see and work it out.

I’ll post updates on how my Fantasy Life is going! 😉

Who is Simply Tracy

Hello. My name is Tracy. I consider myself to be a simple person, meaning that I enjoy life, and enjoy being happy. I strive to not make things complicated for myself and to keep drama out of my life. Don’t get me wrong, a little gossip is always around, but I do try not to get involved with it. I just simply want to live my life the best I can and as simply as I can.

A little background…
I was married for 25 years, raised 3 wonderful sons, divorced, re-married, widowed and now live on my own. I bought a nice little house in a nice little town and work to keep it and myself going. I am an Accounting Assistant with a company that runs Group Homes for the intellectually disabled. (there is an amusing story of how I landed this job… but maybe I will tell that one later) This is the best job I have ever had, other than raising my sons. I get to work from home 3-days a week and do ‘mail runs’ to the main office twice a week.

I also consider myself to be somewhat creative, as I love arts and crafts, painting, soap making, jewelry making and almost everything do with paper and glue. There is not one thing that I excel at in crafts, mostly because I enjoy trying everything. I am lucky enough to have a room the fits both my office area and my craft area (I took the biggest bedroom for this area).

Knowing that there will be no retirement for me and that I will be late to my own funeral because I will still be working, I plan on spending the rest of my life learning to enjoy what I have, what I can do and where I can go, and not sweat the small stuff and anything that I cannot change. I will keep on learning new things, new technologies and every new craft that I can!
